Paul Meier is a psychiatrist and founder of Meier Clinics, a nonprofit Christian counseling organization; he is also a bestselling author [e.g., The Third Millenium: A Novel]. Frank Minirth is also a psychiatrist and president of the Minirth Clinic in Texas, as well as an adjunct professor at Dallas Theological Seminary. They formerly operated their clinics jointly, and had a radio show that aired on more than 200 stations, but in 1996 they separated their interests (amicably, we are told).
