I was looking for a daily prayer book that was simple and straightforward with out being childish. I love the weekly themes and have found the prayers in many cases work for morning prayer with the teachers too. We use this for morning prayer for the whole school.
Loved how I can use this book in different ways. The prayers are simple, concise and written like children pray. My students love praying the prayers and using the discussion question to talk about the topics. This is my go-to book for all grades.
It has some great prayers! I did not preview the book before class each day, and there were a couple of prayers that I wished that I'd skipped. Still, it got the students to participate in prayer, and it gave us a wealth of prayers to choose from by topic. Good buy!
My daughter has to pick a prayer to read every morning before school at her Catholic K-8 school so I bought this book for her and it is wonderful. It has very clear and appropriate and meaningful prayers. They are easy to read and somehow have phrasing that rolls easily off the tongue. It is a great book and I'm so happy we found it. I even ordered a spare one to keep in the car in case we forget it one day!!!! Ha!
Great resource for any school. Like that it goes week by week with a theme and corresponding scripture passage for each week.
The Teens really like it when I use the prayers from this book. They seem to pay more attention and be reverent.
