If you want to see change in a person's life than buy them this bible or buy it for yourself. This is a great bible that answers any question that you can have in your mind about the word of God and how to follow the word. I bought this bible for my brother who is an intellectual and loves to ask questions. Well, he couldn't stop raving about this bible. He said it was the best gift that I gave him. The bible ask questions and give the answers. ex. "What are some tactics that the Devil uses to keep us away from doing the will of God? Distraction, Doubt, and others were among the answers. It even talks about sexuality, purity, destructive attitudes. It talks about people who are opportunistic and uses people. If you can think it, this bible will ask it and direct you to the right answer. This is a great bible. I use it for bible study.
This Bible is extremely reader friendly. It is easy to understand, easy to follow and makes learning the Bible very enjoyable. I love the different colors and fonts that are used and the personal testimonies that are shared throughout. This is the perfect Bible for young readers or anyone who has stuggled to understand other versions in the past.
This is a great Bible for a new believer or someone who wants more insight. It is very easy to follow. Great edition!
Lot's of great info pertaining to the Bible and the human writer's, of course the Devine writer, too. Easy to use and I feel an excellent translation for meaning and context.
I love this bible, it is not a good bible to quote scriptures from, but is a great reference tool to use when you have read a scripture that looks and sounds like a totally different language to you. This version really does a good job of translating verses into modern day language without altering the story lines. Literally the translation is just as simple to understand as this review. I mostly read this bible after I have read my traditional kjv bible, so that I can fully grasp the content that I just went over.This is a great bible for those that minister to alot of young people, those that conduct bible studies,beginners who don't really understand the scriptures in the bible, those having a hard time remembering what scriptures pertain to what story, or people that are just curious of what the bible is all about.
I think every beginner needs one of these Bibles. I have bought several and given them to new believers. Lots of foundational information a very practical Bible. I have one also and have learned a bunch too. Thanks Vickie
For a Teenager who wanted to know about the Bible this was an excellent book. His parents never taught him about the word. SO I bought him this bible. It gives some explantions in a manner interesting to a teenager. This is an excellent introduction to God.
I purchased this bible for my 13 year old grandson and was not dissappointed with its age appropriatness. It is written in a way that is easily understandable for him. And lets face it.... what good is a bible you cannot undersand???
