When my children were little, we always had a birthday cake at Christmas to remind us the reason for the season was Jesus' birth. This little book is a very complete, but simple tale of Jesus' birth. It is the Bible story in easy terms for a child to read again and again. It is also a good story to read on Mom or Dad's lap. Why this book, when you have your Bible?This book is in child's language and has beautiful pictures to help explain the story. Many children's stories do not tell the true Bible story. This was a very basic book. Story was accurate and I was glad the author included the fact that the Wise Men visited Jesus well after His birth at "the house". Yet the picture was of the Wise Men at the manger! Not impressed...sorry.
This is a great book for you to share with young children. It is a very easy to share the true meaning of Christmas in a way that children can understand. It also includes some very excellent pictures for the kids...and their parents to enjoy.

I paid $3.77 for this? That one reviewer was right about the pictures being very cheesy. But it was also just so short! It could have had more information and still have been appropriate for kids. Want a refund!
This was a waste of money! The pictures were an unrelated collection of toys or stock photos, seemed like cut and paste. Writing was uninspiring when this subject is all about joy and inspiration. Boring for children flat and tasteless for adults!
