Every teacher knows there are certain challenges their students face each year and one of those challenges is behaving in the school cafeteria. I have never found a book that addressed this issue- until now. I own many books in this series, they are perfect for teaching young children how to behave in other areas such as the library, the bus, the playground and more. The illustrations are also fantastic, I appreciate that the illustrator included multicultural characters so my students can relate. The entire series of books is a great investment for any primary teacher.
This was a great book to read to my kindergarten students at the beginning of the school year. I plan on reading it again in January after the Christmas break. It has all the manners that need to be used in a lunchroom setting.
I work with kids at school who get in trouble. Many problems are cleared up by teaching social skills they don't have yet. This book is a good helper
I love using this book in the first week of school to introduce my students to school procedures. It's not too wordy for kindergarteners.
