What a wonderful fairy tale. I truly loved this story! What a fantastic twist on Beauty and the beast. I so loved the way the author would weave the story into the fairy tale. I'm looking forward to reading another one. It has it all, love, romance and redemption! And I love happy ever after stories.
Fairy tales from our childhood got a lot of us reading. Today little girls watch TV for the fairy tales. That is so sad as they don't see the pictures a good author can paint with words. I loved this novella. Sweet and clean with good things for the good and the bad learned a lesson. Beastly Duke and the Winsome Bride was equally as good as Charity McColl book The Duke and the Ugly Duckling. You need to read both if you get a chance.
Samantha's life is a misery at the hands of her cruel stepmother. She is treated worse than a servant, and now her stepmother is plotting to marry her off to a terrible man.Her father spirits her away to Scotland to be a servant in the castle of Lord Alistair who was dreadfully wounded in the war and now has a hideously scarred face. Samantha is frightened but she is safe from her stepmother here.
This story has an amazing storyline that completely draws you into. You cannot help falling in love with the characters and feeling all of their emotions as if they were you. This story sucks you in and I couldn't put it down until the end. I cannot wait for the next book!
I just loved this short but sweet story . The villains got what they deserved . I can't wait to read more of her books !!!!!!
