I bought this along with the Handwriting and Writing ones. They are very small but great learning material that my son is enjoying . He calls it his homework. It has perforated pages so they can be put on the fridge :) Can't beat the price and it shipped quickly. I took a picture next to a regular size one so you can see how small it is.
The exercises may seem simple to us but they really help beginning writers learn the basics of writing. They start with line tracing to help steady their little hands. The lessons progress on to lower case and upper case letters, grouping letters with straight lines, circles and slanted lines. Additionally, it includes writing numbers from one to ten. The pages are colorful and well designed. If your child can hold a pencil, I would recommend this book.
I'm not dissatisfied but was expecting some pages that included letters my kids could trace for most or all of the first letter pages. It didn't provide as much "guided" practice as a beginning writer needs.
This is a great learning a for a three-year-old that is attending day care. Great reinforcement for learning.
This book is small but is fun and a good price.
