Finished the third book of the Lone Star Ranger series, oh, it was So good! A Ranger to Fight With. I sure do wish #4 was already out! I think it takes too long in between books. Of course I don't like book's turned out so fast they aren't any good. Or the spelling is atrocious, and a bunch of typos. But these books are just great! I really did enjoy them! I was so proud of Nate! I highly recommend this series!!
Simply a fantastic part of this series in the development of the life of a young man who's desire is to become a Texas ranger.It is filled with excitement and suspense as the climactic battle sets up a thrilling finish to a long pursuit. So saddle up and enjoy your read.

Jim Griffin gets his horse facts and his gun facts right, and this book is another in the ongoing series of How to be a Ranger. Every lesson Nate learns, you can learn, too, if you pay attention. Of course Nate gets in trouble, too, but that's part of being a Ranger. What's more, at fourteen, he's become not only a Ranger to reckon with, but one to fight with as well. Youngsters will enjoy this Ranger tale, and they can bank on Griffin's getting it straight.
