This was a fun series and I hated having it end. My favorite quote was: "...the complete peace & contentment that came from a strong faith, good friends, & an amazing family. It was the sum of love." And that is a perfect way to sum up love and to sum up this series. You will have to read this to see if anyone finds the treasure.
The sum of love is a wonderful ending to the seven book series on treasure harbor. it is a must read for the final book in the series please please make sure that you read all six books before you get to this last one it is well worth the wait.
Writing a review is difficult! I don't want to give away spoilers, so I leave the description of the book in the hands of the writer, but I can attest to the fact that this was the ultimate feel good ending of a series of books I am going to miss. That is always the way I feel when it comes to an end.Leah Atwood has outdone herself on the ending of Treasure Harbor! Read this series! I loved all of the books and am grateful to have found a few new authors to add to my list of favorites!
At at time when the news is daily full of strife and discord, it is encouraging to read a story of reconcilliation, forgiveness and love.In this story Leah Atwood has shown us that the most important things are not material but spiritual and emotional. The joy of living in peace, enjoying the ffriendship and support of family and friends.The reconciliation between Paige and Levi,followed by reconciliation between their families then the blesskinvg felt by them and the community as as result of their courage and faith has made this a fitting end to a very enjoyable series.Thank you Leah.
I have read each book on the Treasure Harbor series and they are all so good! The Sum of Love was the perfect ending! Paige and Levis love is so sweet and you can't help but route for them! I loved catching up with the other characters and see them all work together to find the treatise and in the feud. This series provides great life lessons and can be applied to your walk with Christ. I highly recommend reading it.
This is a great ending of a feud between the Burton and Callahan families over gold and jewels that were given to Drake Burton from Camilla Callahan. The couple had just wed and was confronted by Sabastian Callahan and when he went to shoot and kill Drake he killed his daughter Camilla instead. In this story Paige Burton and Levi Callahan are engaged and her parents produce a picture to Levi that destroys the young couple engagement. Levi left town and has now come back after eight years. The mystery of the .missing gold and jewels is solved.
After 8 years Levi returned home. The reason that he left is so sad. Watching Levi and Paige become close again is truly remarkable. What these two do for their relatives is really amazing. You will be on the edge of your seat waiting to see what happens next. You will feel God working throughout this whole book. This book deserves a higher rating than a five star review.
This is a great story that centers around forgiving others. It's proof that time and distance don't destroy real love. I don't want to give anything away so I will just say that this book is the perfect ending for the series.
