I don't believe that there's such a thing as too much praying. It makes me feel good to pray for even the most basic of God's gifts-- a beautiful day, a cute bug, a loving cat, a hug from a friend, the wonderful shades of green on all plant life in the spring, dew on a spider's web, rain steaming off of hot asphalt, all of God's creatures, the perfection in a pretty flower, the smell of fresh cut grass or hay, babies with their fluffy hair and new baby smell.... There's too many things to list them all. I even bless the poor creatures that don't make it through the night while I'm out driving. And I pray and hope that someone kind will take the time to bury them, and that they're safe in Heaven with God and all of my loved ones that went before me, and wait for me. I pray that someday we'll all be together again in Heaven.
This is a very nice book about prayers. The author made a good compilation of prayers for every occasion and also for the people whom you love. This is a truly inspirational read and I will surely find a good use for this since I grew up in a catholic household. I am planning to loan this book to whoever needs prayers for different occasions since this has a variety of choices. I honestly enjoyed reading all throughout the book and some prayers actually made me feel better.
These prayers are helpful to me to stay on course and while these are all valuable prayers in this one book, I do not use all of these but I'm able to highlight the ones that help me communicate my feelings of thanks to The Lord. Other people would probably find the other prayers more helpful, but this is what I like there are prayers for all kinds of people to say. This is an extremely helpful book.
