I ordered this for a deeper understanding of the book while I was engaged in a small group study of the book of Nehemiah by Kelly Minter. The book offered a unique perspective and thoughtful, questioning approach. As a result, I wrote a devotional message for our church blog. This was definitely a worthwhile purchase.
Sometimes life throws one thing after another at you until you feel overwhelmed. This Bible study walks you through the book of Nehemiah delineating the steps that Nehemiah used when he motivated the demoralized, battered, strayed Israelites to rebuild their wall in spite of sabotage and rebuild their faith in spite of their straying. A good book to go back to regularly.
This is a book every one should have in their library. It not only is an excellent Bible Study but contains many every day practical applications. I have recommended to my Bible study leader.Betty
