This story is so well written, and creative, that my children ask to read it again and again. We love folktales, from all countries around the world. This is our second favorite to: The Corn People; An Indigenous American Creation Story.
Most of these ancient stories usually illustrates life lessons and some type of moral code to live by and this one was no different. My daughter was able to grasp it and she like the story.
