This is such a sweet, simple story about a first day of school. Perfect for the incoming preschooler or Early Elementary student. Yoon has a wonderful way of tackling the "struggles" of being a kid in a simple way, that leaves the reader reassured that all will end well for Bear and his beloved Floppy. I had a big day today like bear did. I have been ashamed of my winter body and so I have been afraid to step out into the sun. But today I put on my bakini and went outdoors. I didn't care who saw me with my many folds and wrinkles and pale skin. I was like bear! And my cat did not even laugh. I love bear and I love my body.
