I have both the paperback and Kindle version of this wonderful book of prayers. It's part of my daily life as a Catholic yearning for a deeper, more meaningful relationship with God. This book has prayers meant for each day of the week. The prayers are beautiful and poetic as most are from the book of Psalms and from chosen prayers of the Holy Saints.
Great little book required daily reading for those that wear the scapular. Easy to follow. This is a nice paperback
This is a heavenly maternal scriptural edition placed in the reader's interest section; I do really like the arrangement of Our Lady'sposition of heavenly glory in this book; and it's relationship to the human and divine inter relationship.
Not the traditional version which is by far a much more beautiful pray to the Blessed Virgin Mother Mary. Very disappointingAnd does not have all of the liturgical hours would not recommend this to anyone to pray but instead highly recommendThe Little Office of the Blessed Virgin Mary that St Bonaventure publications prints with an introduction by Fr. F. X. Lasance.Too bad not able to find the kindle version of it.
For those who wear the brown scapular, this is a simple way to have the Little Office always with you on phone or tablet. It has a nice TOC and syncs to the last page you'd read even if it was on another device.
This could be an awesome prayer book. There is a wonderful mix of prayers from both the Roman and Byzantine traditions that are written in modern English (except the Fatima prayers). However, it is painfully and shamefully obvious that no one proof-read -- and better yet, prayed with -- this book! If someone had, then the errors in formatting would have been seen: lines repeat themselves, byzantine prayers are thrown in and mixed together with Fatime prayers, and antiphons are either not clearly delineated or are altogether missing. Quite unfortunate.
Wonderful daily liturgy of the hours containing morning and evening prayers structured similar to the The Liturgy of the Hours, but not as comprehensive. It also contains Office Prayers, Daytime Prayers, and Night Prayer. It is smaller and easier to carry than the Liturgy of Prayers, and is great for lay people to take anywhere, or use daily as a way to gain further understanding and appreciation of the Blessed Mother, as well as the grace received from participating in and contemplating on her as well as the psalms and hymns that are included in the Office.
I use this book daily. The prayers are wonderful. This book is very easy to use and a great inspiration. A wonderful way to start the day! I highly recommend it for those who are devoted to the Blessed Virgin and want to say some daily prayers to her and be inspired.by her.
