This is an incredible study for anyone looking to know Jesus more or get to know Him for the first time. Lisa Harper does an amazing job of leading through the Gospel of Mark with great heart provoking questions. She helped to understand this Gospel more clear and I could relate to every story she shared throughout the study. I highly recommend this book! This is one study I will do multiple times in my life I guarantee you on that!
We learn a lot about Lisa and her sweet heart. We hear inspiring stories. I wouldn't call it a Bible study, though, as she tends to use the Bible to make her own points rather than stick to what the Bible is saying. Many times throughout the study I have wished she'd focus more on what the Bible says than going back to her own stories.
Great study and the DVD is exceptional. Lisa Harper is gifted at teaching the Word in a way that we can relate to it in our daily life. Her humor, love and passion as a follower of Jesus, and conviction is inspiring, entertaining, and helps us understand the Biblical context as it pertains to our life today.
So excited about this study.. in depth truth teller Lisa Harper brings us all along for a journey into the Gospel of Mark and we don't leave the same! Highly recommend this study for anyone desiring a closer walk with Jesus and His promise of healing in all areas of our lives..
This is a great study for anyone from those just starting in a study to those wanting to dig in deeper. I have really been able to pull things out that I never thought about before or didn't really pay attention to before when reading the Bible. Lisa has done an excellent job with the writings in it and the questions and explanations. I highly recommend it.
