The book is recommended for ages 3-6. I will tell you that my daughter is 27 months old and she loves it. I know each child is different. For us, this book is perfect for her development level. The book provides many opportunities for learning, while telling the story of Noah and the Ark. The lift flaps provide fun and interaction for your child. There are activities such as identifying colors, match up animals, explore sounds, and more. I am very pleased to have this book for Grace. The illustrations are great, and will look familiar if you have any of the Beginner's Bible series. We have The Beginner's Bible for Toddlers, which we love!!! I recommend that as well, if you are looking for a "first" bible for your little one.This book would also make a great gift, if you are buying for a toddler/ preschooler.
Perfect board book for a toddler. I bought it for my great grandson's birthday, along with the Noah ark sorting toy. Very nice and I'm sure he'll get many hours of enjoyment from both the book and ark toy.
My grandson loves to pull the flaps up on this book. The story is short but true to the biblical meaning. I'm looking for more like this (bible or not) since he can't get enough interaction.
my 3year old son loves this book! it is a great lift the flap book. even though i might have bought this to learn more biblical lessons, it actually doesn't teach any. but it is ok because the idea is there and there are other everyday practical lessons to learn for young kids/toddlers such as colors, where animals live & eat etc. i would definitely recommend this book!
It is a good book for my preschooler. The only problem I had with it was when they were showing what the animals eat, the cats drink milk, and the bears eat honey. How about sticking a big fat slab of steak in the book, under the bear or cat. That's what they really like getting their paws on!
This was a gift for my granddaughter, and she loves it! This is a great book, very sturdy and colorful!
