This is a great atlas! The first section in it is an introduction to maps and atlases which is very accessible for my 6th grader and we have been studying them as part of our geography studies. There is tons of interesting information on each page of this atlas, I could read it for hours! I highly recommend it for homeschoolers and or any student to help them gain a thorough understanding of maps, what they can show us, how they show it to us, and many basic geographical concepts (latitude, longitude, hemispheres, elevation, etc.).
I borrowed 1 from library for my grandson who did not want to return it. Library does not sell it so I bought this one & it made my grandson so happy. He ABSOLUTELY LOVES IT & reads it continuously. He draws the counties & continents. Book was delivered beautifully new & packaged perfectly. Thank you for your business !
Very complete and up-to-date. Gives lots of information to read, along with the maps. My 6th grader uses it frequently for school and even looks at it for fun because it's so interesting.
Kids love looking at the pictures and finding out about new places they want to travel and where they are located in the world.Wonderful colorful pictures that the kids love!
I needed 2 atlases - preferably the same. One for me and one for the student I'm tutoring. I found 2 just the same AND brand new hardbacks. I am extremely happy.
When making my daughter's new study area.. she uses this atlas very often.. it makes her feel very studious while doing her homework!!
