My 17-month-old really enjoys the bright colors and singsong-y rhymes in this book. And as she gets older, I think she's also going to love the silliness of the different scenarios on each page -- it's a cute spin on the old nursery rhyme, where all sorts of things are stacked up and then "ALL FALL DOWN!" Highly recommended for the toddler/preschool set!
We were given All Fall Down along with Pat-a-Cake when they first came out and my 10m old daughter LOVES both books! I like to start reading each page slowly and then speeding up to the loud ALL FALL DOWN! She gets excited in anticipation for the "All fall down!" We're always looking for fun ways to engage and this book provides plenty. Highly recommend by her and me.
My son is 22 months now. I got this book for him 3 months ago but he wasn't interested. We picked it up again this month and he loved it! Request to read this again and again!
My grandson loves the book. He's 20 months old.
The multicultural illustrations and oversized characters in this board book are certainly eye-catching and a plus but the book's theme is questionable. From building a tower of blocks and making a pile of stuff in a steam to creating a hill of mashed potatoes and peas while sitting in a high chair, the children pictured here are busy building and destroying things. The repeated catch phrase, "ALL FALL DOWN!", is kind of cute until the food hits the floor. Sorry but I don't need to encourage my granddaughter to dump her dinner on the floor with a resounding "ALL FALL DOWN!".Sure, up to a point, this is harmless fun but I'm not sure I really want to see things knocked over just for the thrill of seeing them topple down. For me, "All Fall Down" is a downer! There are much better board books for toddlers available!Book supplied by publisher.
