It's a beautiful volume. However, there is an issue I'd like to point out. I will do so with pictures. I've included two pictures; one is perfectly printed and the other is completely disarranged. It somehow bothers me to look at that white bar when the page is supposed to be full. Many pages are printed in this fashion making the volume look quite unpleasant.
Tokyo Ghoul is an amazing anime as is, in my opinion. The manga DEFINITELY does it justice. I would recommend that anyone who is a fan of a slightly more blood, gore, and all around unique anime. The book was in pristine condition and man am I excited for the next installation...ugh two more months. The struggle is real!
So far, out of all of the series, this has been one of my least favorite volumes. The characters are still eccentric and interesting, but there was way too much detail about some of the particulars in this book. I zoned out on a few pages and must admit that I am lost as to what happened in about 10% of this volume. The art is still great and I want to know what happens next, so it is still a good series, just not my favorite volume in the series.
I purchase these books for my daughter whenever they are released because she is obsessed with this series. I preorder the next book in the series when its available from . The book arrived the day after the release and my 12 year old always lets out a squeel of joy and runs to her room to read them. This time, she finished the book in 30 minutes. Great series!
Pros: Juuzou is on the coverCon: Juuzou is not on every single page
Another amazing volume to the wonderful series of Tokyo Ghoul. The plot slowly thickens, & there are also plenty of twists & turns. This volume has amazing art & detail. It's an absolute must read.
I really love this series, and all the characters in it. I liked how this volume starts the Aogiri tree storyline.
This is where the story starts to get really good 👍🏻
