I would definitely recommend these books -especially if you have a child that doesn't like to read. My son really dislikes to read most of the time but found this series very interesting. He read all three in about a month and wishes that there were more books in this series. This series definitely made it easy for him to get excited about reading and taking AR tests.
Buzz looked over the edge. Straight down from where he stood, at the bottom of a hundred-foot cliff, ocean waves lapped at the rocky shoreline of Nowhere Island."We're going to have to climb down," Carter said."Tell me you're joking!" Buzz shouted. The final book in the Stranded trilogy by Jeff Probst. The adventure on the island continues. The kids face more danger and excitement, as in the previous books. Even a small cut can be dangerous on this island and even the slightest mistakes can have serious consequences. Will the kids be rescued?Once again, this book will appeal to young reluctant readers who enjoy adventure stories. The book is short and easy to read. I read it in an afternoon and enjoyed it very much.
I bought this book for my 11 year old son who is not a big fan of reading. But he loves these Survivor Stranded books! He finished the first one and asked to get the 2nd and 3rd books for his birthday.
My 9 year old daughter is hooked on this series. She's not a fan of reading so when she finds something she likes to read, I jump on it to keep her interested. I hope I can find other books like this series so I can keep her enjoying reading.
I loved this series! And I'm a 46 year old mom ;) Borrowed them from my 13 year old daughter (who also loved them) when I was out of reading material. I probably shouldn't have read this until AFTER we take our family Caribbean sailing trip this winter. We'll be chartering a 50' Jeanneau :0
This is a must-read book! I can't believe that Jeff Probst can be awesome at writing and acting/hosting ! I would recommend this book for girls and boys ages 9-12 and who love excitement and adventure!By Elsa H.
I didn't read this book personally, but my 10 year old loved it! That may not mean much to you, but he does not love reading...At All. But he loved this series and so he had to have me order this book as soon as it came out so that he would have all three. So that fact that he wanted to read just to read tells me that it's worth giving it a try!
I know this is a childrens book, but my dad didn't know that when he bought the first two. It may be a kids book, but my dad really seems to enjoy reading it. I'll be keeping an eye out more of the series in the future.
