The book only focuses on Wesley's (and by extension the United Methodist) understanding salvation. It comprehensively treats this aspect of our faith and does it well. I especially appreciated the chapter on Original Sin which is so often demonized in our day, but essential to a Christian an Methodist understanding of salvation.
Excellent, easy to understand and yet intelligent examination of Wesleyan beliefs. A great read not only for Methodists, but for anyone in one of the many denominations influenced by Wesley's theology. Would be a wonderful, doable study for those just entering the Methodist church as well.
A wonderful book that all Methodists should read.
