As the previous review said it fills in for a lot of missing information. For example the daughters of Adam and Eve. More detail concerning Seth. The guile of satan. The cave of treasures. The verses alluding to passages in both the old and new testament. I could hardly put it down, and so much more. If you ever had questions concerning the creation I would highly recomend this reading.

This book was just what I needed, it helped me "feel" their tremendous sorrow, for what they did! satan is a trickster....and in this book, they were so naiive! I felt their pain! They changed the whole course of humanity! But God is so merciful and kind, When Jesus died on the cross....anything could be forgiven!

This book is considered "biblical literature." I considered it a book that once you start to read it you will not want to put it down until you have finished it. It fills in the "missing stories in Genesis. It is family friendly, and should be shared with the whole family.

This book will show you what Satan really is made of... and that is pure EVIL and full of deceptions. You have got to read it!

Excellent Read, I consider this Christian literature and not cannonized scripture. It gives a very good "what if" of what might have transpired. It also sheds light on the fall of man and the fall of God's angels that sinned. Unlike some gnostic hidden scroll nonsense polluting the world it cleary shows the promise of the savior and promise to come and rescue man in his fallen state of imperfection ridden with sin.It also shows how the devil uses all sorts of deceitful acts to cause Adam and Eve to sin or lose hope.I have read some versions of the book written in King James language, this book is written in modern English making a joy to read. I highly recommend the book.

Really enjoyed it, but of course I love anything I can get my hands on that has bible history. I don't agree with the writer when using references that are not used out of the KJV Bible, so make sure you have a good amount of knowledge of the word of God before reading and believing books like these. This one has so far been pretty good. I have purchased several of Ken Johnson's books over the past few months and he does a good job explaining and comparing these writings to the Bible as well as a brief history of where these writings come from. The only thing I don't agree with him is that he uses quotes from other bibles instead of the KJV and he apparently believes that God is Jesus in his personal statements, which is what we would call a "Jesus Only". Other than that it's a good read and a decent price....

very good read, I am a Christian and have always wondered how things might have played out after Adam fell. I cried with him over his loss of relationship. A very heart searching read,

To tell the truth, at the beginning, I found the story difficult to enjoy and I considered tossing the book in the trash. Instead, I decided to revisit the story and rethink what was happening from a child's perspective. Ask yourself the question, "how would you raise yourself without parents?" I was raised by a single parent but, imagine being alone from the start and trying to raise yourself. Think of all of the mistakes that you would make during the process of growing up. If the reader doesn't view this story from the right perspective then he/she will have missed a lot of what the book had to offer.I liked the way the story filled a lot of the holes in the book of Genesis and, tied the New testament together with the Old. I will certainly read it againP.S. If you haven't read your Bible, this book isn't for you.
