I would say this is more of a 3rd grade book than for 5th grade. The knowledge is more mapped based then actually learning statistics of the continents and countries in them. I have been thoroughly disappointed. Even worse my daughter who loves geography has become quite disenchanted with this workbook and treats it as drone or busy work.
Very helpful to work on in the summer, filling in the gaps in our educational system is always a good thing. Easy to understand, keeps my kids engaged.
Good to use for homeschooling.
