I sing this song to my son at night before bed, and i thought i knew all the verses to the song (the first and i know 3 others) but this book had 2 other verses that i never knew! i love it & so does my son!
This board book is simply beautiful. The pages are edged in "gold" and gives it a beautiful appearance and the illustrations are lovely. This was purchased for my son's Easter basket and will be a lovely addition!
My three year old loves singing Jesus Loves Me. I thought I'd get her a book with it in it. I love all the verses, and the book and illustrations are beautiful. The book is gold lined and the illustrations are really cute. My three year old loves animals and enjoys looking at her book. . . . though they really don't have much to do with the lyrics.
We received this book as a gift, and since have gifted it to two other children. The pictures are so wonderful and the book includes the sheet music for the song in the back.
We were awarded custody of our granddaughter about the time she turned 2. This book helped so much in our bonding and quickly became her requested favorite. While she was learning Jesus loves her, she also was learning Grandma and Grandpa love her ... through activities and seasons of life. The illustrations are so relatable and lended themselves to discovery questions about who she is. I buy this book regularly for moms to be and new moms.
Growing up with this little song, I honestly never knew that there were 2 other verses other than the main one. I received this item as a baby shower gift and began "singing" it to my little one as early as 3 weeks old. He always enjoys it, and I certainly enjoy the illustrations. It is a nighttime favorite.
We first found this book at the library and checked it out multiple times and memorizes the two additional verses the author adds to the traditional song. The pictures are so cute. I just ordered this copy for our new nephew.
