This book on Java Artificial Intelligence was boiled down to its simpler and easiest way to understand how this programming works. It provides a complete guide and method in creating a problem solving AI along with a concise explanation on algorithms and data structures. This is absolutely a useful material with much easier approach on Java programming and certainly worth the time reading it.
Most of the programming guides I have read are too complex and that I could not understand most of what instruct. In short, I don’t learn that much. But with this one is different. The explanations are easy to understand and understandable along with the illustrations. Each part is being explained well and because of that, I learned a lot and understand each step. This is really a guide that is easy to learn and understand Java.
A very easy to read simplistic introduction to the field of Artificial Intelligence. The book covers a comprehensive variety of styles/approaches to artificial life and computational problem solving including optimization, data mining, agents,evolutionary system and so on. The content does not enter into particularly highly detailed examples (no maths/programming) of these principals, however the descriptions are thorough enough (in plain English) for any introductory readers, or those without prior knowledge to fully grasp the concepts being discussed.
The process of creating Artificial Intelligence appears to be so challenging and you need different levels of knowledge depending on your project. The major advantage of Java is that it is a multi-purpose language that combines transparency, portability, maintainability and of course versatility. I needed to learn basic Java programming and about why I purchased this book. This book is helpful and by the help of this book I have learned about artificial intelligence. It is true that this is a realistic approach not a terrible fantasy. The author of this book did an excellent job and by reading this book I am impressed.This book is well written and every lesson is very clearly described. By reading this book I have understood about the complicated scheduling problem and how to solve it. This book taught me about how to interpret system and much more. I am glad to read this book. If you have any interest about Al algorithms and logical Java coding, then I will suggest you to read this book.
I am no tech expert so I cannot vouch for the applicability nor the effectiveness of the steps being discussed by the author with regards to Java Programming but it was well presented and neatly written that a reader like myself, with VERY LIMITED understanding of the topic, can easily follow what is being discussed without any episodes of epistaxis as result. (That was a medical pun, by the way) It was written short and concise which I guess the reason why I did not have a hard time following the process though I have yet to try it.
