This book was for my niece and my brother and sister in law and I all absolutely adore it! It is a very very sweet book and the bear is the perfect size for my nieces small hands! I love the story and the illustrations and I am planning to buy more books by this author/illustrator.
This book is adorable. I love how it came with the cute little bear. My son carries it around everywhere.Although each page has only few words, i think it did a great job on getting to its point. Many young toddlers wont just sit and listen to long sentences in a page and rather flip the pages over (like my son) and its enough time for each page for me to read thru until he wants to see the next page. i would recommend this for 1st time books for babies
My daughter just LOVES her tiny little teddy bear. She's only one and has been in love with it since she was about four months old. She has liked books since she was about three months old, so the duo is perfect. The book is super cute and very durable. I can't let her chew on it but she can check it out. This was a fantastic purchase.
My daughter (14mo) immediately fell in love w/this book and teddy. She'll pull both of them out of their respective baskets and ask me to read to her and her teddy every day. I will probably purchase more from the series over the next couple of months.
This version of the book is much smaller than the original, which means the bear is also smaller than expected, since I was assuming the book was "regular" size & was using it for comparison. Not sure I would have ordered if i realized that. I am now ordering a full size book to go with the bear.
My 9 month old loves the books and illustrations by Caroline Jayne Church. The board book itself is rather thin compared to other board books, but is part of a gift set, so maybe that has something to do with it. However, my disappointment lies in the teddy bear that comes with it. It just wasn't as cute as the picture advertised.
I love this book, I would read it to my son when he was little, now that I have a little girl I wanted to read it to her too, I saw this one that inckudes the bear and thought she would love it, it is small both the book and the bear are smaller than the regular board book but its adorable
This is great, but of course... only one warning. If you are buying this because you loved reading this book to your kids. This book is very small compared to the original. The little bear is super cute, but tiny. My kids don't play with the bear because it is so small. Really the ONLY disappointment. We simply thought the bear and book were larger.
