We like this devotional. We read it at dinner. I have a 4 year old and 6 year old. My 6 year old loves animals. My 4 year old has a harder time with it because there are few pictures and he is a visual learner. But over all we love how it will take an animal trait and pull scripture from it.
I remember my parents reading out of this book when I was a child. My brothers and I always looked forward to our family devotions when our parents pulled out this book. Not only was it a good book for teaching children Biblical principles, but it also taught us interesting facts about animals. Now that I have children of my own, I am getting my own copy of this book to share with them.
My mother read this book to her Grandchildren. Some of their fondest memory's were Grandma Betty reading this book to them. When she recently passed away they all asked for a copy of this book even though they are now in their 20s. Through /Mr Coleman we were able to grant their wish. Great book to read to your kids and Grandkids. They will no forget.
These books by Mr. Coleman are the most splendid books for children. We read them to our children, and they really helped build a foundation of respect and love for nature, God and each other. We were just surfing to see if we could still obtain a copy to read to our grandson.
