I previously bought A Girl's Guide to Making Really Good Choices but felt that it focused too much on external rather than internal issues. I like A Girl's Guide to Discovering Her Bible much better. It deals with specific issues that girls face by directing them to a Bible passage that deals with that issue. The questions in each chapter guide the reader to draw applications directly from the Bible. I'm looking forward to using this in pre-teen Bible studies!
I purchased this book to do with a preteen girl who has started coming to my church. She had not had at previous exposure to the bible. We have been meeting weekly, doing one chapter a week through the summer. It has been really good and she is working through the chapters easily. I have appreciated the scriptures written in the study but we try to look some of them up together so she can practice using her bible. I think this is a good book to introduce a preteen to bible study.
great 'the bible 2'!!! has lots of bible veses. also has personal narratives. i recommend it for growing Christian girls. nobody dare rate it 1 star it is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!
Perfect book for a small group bible study. Lead my daughter and a few of her 9 year old friends. The concepts in the book were perfect for their age.
