The One Year Did You Know Devotions
Ebooks Online

This is like no devotional book you've ever read. Kids ages 6-10 love trivia, and this book is chock-full of interesting and sometimes silly facts. Each fact is explained briefly; the theme of the fact is then used to share a biblical truth as well as a Bible verse. The Bible message and verses tie directly to the theme of the facts, providing a better opportunity for kids to remember and apply the biblical message.

This was originally a gift to our granddaughter. After my husband starting reading it, he wanted a copy for himself! They are short enough stories, the grandkids sit and the questions that relate to the bible teachings are excellent life lessons and direction topics for all ages!

We have a 15, 13, 12 and 3 year old. We read one days devotional after dinner each night. My husband reads the opening question and we all go around trying to guess the answer before we read the devo. We're kinda of a competitive family so we love the challenge of who knows the most 'crazy-fact' logic. Great for all ages!

We home school our children. We just finished the entire book as we do one to two devotions every day before we start school. Our children are 12,11 and 8 and all three really enjoy the fun facts and even education that this book prides. The spiritual implementation is perfect. Some at "deeper" than others but overall very balanced. I really enjoyed it as well. Everyday, is a reinforcement of Godly character or His love and mercy for us, as well as some interesting bits of random knowledge. We're ordering book 2!

My son (12yrs) and I love this devotional he WANTS to do devotions because of the fun facts! We love the fact that we can get the second book. We weren't looking forward to it ending dec 31. We've had lots of good devotions and discussions that have been a result of what we read....sometimes simple is best!

Great tool for Sunday School or Children's Church. Fun, clever ideas to engage kids. A resource I depend on at church.

This is a fun and interesting book with many facts from around the world. I like that it makes it interesting to read for my 10 year old son, however there is not as much bible application as I would like. It is mostly filled with fun and interesting stories. This is a great first devotion to get him used to reading a page every night and thinking about the subject, however I would not recommend this for older kids that need to dig deeper into the Bible.

These devos are sooo good! You learn something new every time AND applies to God's Word. Short, sweet, and to the point interesting devos. Not a better devo book out there probably! :)
