Excellent! My daughter has just turned 8 and could not put them down until she had finished the whole book, and is now requesting the whole series. And this in the summer holidays!I would recommend the series to any parent, the topics keep the child interested in a fun way.
Judy Moody is the perfect book series for girls and boys alike who are learning to read. My son is 6 and entering the 1st grade and he loves this series and the one that follows starring her brother Stink. I enjoy the characters and the language far better than Junie B Jones, who often uses words like "stupid" and calls people derogatory names. The Judy Moody also has some elements of learning (venus fly traps, the Freedom Trail in Boston, etc.) so it's not just a fictional story.
Another set of Judy Moody fun reads. I don't know if other older people like "kid's books", but I have found these, and the other Judy Moody books, to just be fun to read. They aren't complicated and involved. But they do delight.
We bought these for our daughter for Christmas because she loves to read the Judy Moody books but already has a few of the books so she doesn't need the full collection. With the price of these collections, they can't be beat.
My 3rd Grade daughter has been reading every Judy Moody book she can get her hands on. The Judy Moody books are entertaining and a "quick read" for her (which is good for her because she gets frustrated with books that take more than a couple of days to read). She likes them so much that she'll read them more than once. This set was a great collection of titles she did not yet own.
My daughter loves this book she always makes me read this book before she goes to sleep however she has shown a difference in her behavior when she started reading this book would recommend for children who know how to control themselves and try not to pretend to be the character
I love the Judy Moody and Stink books. I also love how much my son enjoys reading them. They are funny, silly and even educational. I only hope Judy Moody will inspire more little girls (and boys) to love history and science as much as she does.
My six year old daughter just loves these books. She can read them herself and understands most of what is written. There are a few words that are too big for her but not many.
