I purchased the kindle version of this. Everything looked great until I realized that around 50% of the commentary is missing. This is probably just a problem with how they formatted the book into kindle. I find it unlikely the print version would have this problem.
Beautiful hardcover edition of the Qur'an is presented in both Arabic and English, with English commentary included in an easy-to-read format. Yusif Ali translation. This is the one we recommend for classrooms and school libraries for the reason that, while it may not be an individual Muslim's favorite English version (there are so many), it is widely accepted/respected and will bring nods of approval from parents of Muslim youngsters in the classroom.Teachers/Librarians: see above, and note that it is appropriate for 7th-12th grade, social studies/humanities.
As a Christian, employed by a government that sends me about, I wanted to understand the differences and simularities of religions so that I may better serve (double entendre).
