The rosary (from Latin rosarium, meaning "Crown of Roses" or "garland of roses") is a Roman Catholic sacramental and Marian devotion to prayer and the commemoration of Jesus Christ and events of his life. Throughout centuries, the rosary has been promoted by several popes as part of the veneration of Mary. The rosary also represents the Roman Catholic emphasis on "participation in the life of Mary, whose focus was Christ," and the Mariological theme "to Christ through Mary," taught by Saint Louis de Montfort. Love being able to have this on my kindle. I am relearning how to say the rosary for my own spiritual needs. This makes it so convenient.

Very nice prayers and pictures. It makes the rosary a bit lengthy, but good when time permits, such as at Adoration.

Very beautiful and uplifting.

The Rosary was given to us by the Blessed Virgin--conceived free of sin, the mother of God, and therefore intrinsically unable to err. This book incudes the "Luminous Mysteries," an innovation by a Modernist who took it upon himself to "improve" the Rosary Our Lady gave us over 500 years ago.If you are truly a "discerning" Catholic (as the publisher states is products are intended for), here is a good article:http://www.traditio.com/tradlib/rosary.txtKnow your faith.
