When I first read reviews I said sure, it's probably sweet but really. Well it is everything they said it has really sweet illustrations. The writing is wonderful. I always knew what I would like to say to my Grandson but now I have been stuck since the books' words say so much. And yes I did tear up when the book references your own child. I just wish they had a book like this from Grandpa too.
Bought this book as a Mother's Day gift for my mom to reveal that she is going to be a first time grandma! She cried with happiness, I cried with happiness, we all cried with happiness. Adorable book that I'm sure grammy will be reading to our little one all the time :)
This was just the book I was looking for to read to my new Grandson when he arrives. It comes from the heart and tells them a story of the love of a gramma bunny. The illustrations are just beautiful! I'd recommend this book to any grandparent!
I'm of a certain age where many friends are becoming grandmas. This is a lovely story for a grandmother to read to her grandchildren. And, a perfect gift. Highly recommended!
It was a bit "too young" for my six year old granddaughter, but I loved it anyway! She loved it too.
This was a beautiful book that I bought for my unborn grandchild. I cannot wait to give it to him or her. It has a space where you can write a special message. Each page has sweet pictures along with a wonderful story. I cried when I read it. Thanks!!!
My review is influenced by the fact that this book was given to me by my daughter as a way of announcing that a new grandchild is on the way. What's not to like? :)
This is such a sweet book! I bought this as a Mother's Day gift for my mom since this is her first time being a grandma. She was tearing up by the end of it! To make the book even more personal and special, there's a page for her to write a letter to her grandchild, as well as a spot to add a picture of the two of them together.
