This is a beautifully written collection of the Grimm Fairy Tales. The language is challenging, though, so younger readers may have difficulty. Many of the old tales will be unknown to most readers, and because these writings are true to the source material, often contain fairly graphic scenes of violence.If you and your children are not easily shocked, this one of a kind collection will delight you.
Gris Grimly brings the grim back to Grimm, the original Brother's Grimm stories and fairy tales beautifully brought to life in a way like no other illustrator could bring to life then Gris Grimly!
I am in love with this book. It's so pretty and the quality is great for price. The paper itself, the pages, are neat. And of course his illustrations are amazing.
