I'm trying to improve my public speaking, so I got attracted by the book cover when looking for books on Leadership. Haven't heard anything about T.D Jakes before, but his quotes and lessons inspired me so much! I'll be sure to watch some video footage about him...
Inspiration can be found in many places - but I like the one that comes from wise words. This book does a great job of taking some of T.D Jakes sayings and converting them into a set of advice for life. Inspirational lessons coming from faith and spoken by an example of leadership in the 21st century.
This is an EXCELLENT book on leadership and is deeply steeped in faith. It does not however directly reference is the Bible as is sometimes the case with TD Jakes. Its worth, however, is boundless. The only reason I dropped one star is that it is poorly edited. There were misspelled and misplaced words on every third page which is too bad because it became a distraction from the content of the book.
I loved the encouraging words from this man of God, I would recommend this book to anyone who may find themselves in a dilemma as to whether or not the word of God is your way thru and your way out. Powerful messages to read and meditate on.
An easy read of sound nuggets, that serve as a great daily devotional. Touches on the following subjects: prayer, wisdom, and faith.
