While you can no longer attend a true Billy Graham Crusade, (though you can hear his son Franklin), you can still be inspired by his teaching through this record of his most famous sermons.
This book is great for quiet meditation or to read aloud with a group of individuals! There are 7 sermons in the book and the book is printed in larger size font. If you want to find out whether Billy Grahams books would be something you could get into or not, this is a great book to start with. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to gain insight into who God is and what our purpose is as Christians.
I downloaded this for my Mom's kindle and she was thrilled! She watches Billy Graham on TV often and was so happy to find the old sermons they had personally attended back in the 50's. I couldn't have made her happier!
I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys the sermons of Billy Graham. His sermons are to the point and easy to understand.
I have really enjoyed this book. Mr. Grahams sermons are timeless. I wish I could have seen him in real life.
Not ever having seen Billy Graham and having somewhat of an interest in speech structure and persuasive appeal, I saw this at a good price and downloaded. I suspect that seeing Graham in person and hearing him have a much greater impact. Some of the sermons don't seem that well crafted and, naturally, all end with a call to "come." But I must admit that his sermon using lines from "Jesus Christ Superstar" was very well crafted and conceived and was probably quite exciting to hear in a stadium. If you are religious or if you have an interest in the structure of speech and sermons, this could be stimulating.
I never got to see him, after reading the book I know what I missed out on. I've read a few of his books and would give them all five stars. I'm always happy to read anything he wrote.
Billy Graham is, in my opinion, the greatest preacher of our times. All of his books share such a message. Great service from the seller.
