I Love this devotional!!!!! I have been walking through one of the most difficult trials of my life in almost 30 years and God has spoken through these devotions time and time again. Often times the day that I read it will be an answer to a prayer that I have just prayed!! I HIGHLY recommend it, your life will be touched and you will "Hear His Whisper"!!!!!
I would give 10 stars if I could. This book is amazing !! It will usher you right into a precious time with Father God. I love how he uses scripture at the end of each devotion that ties in with each one, and the Passion Translation makes the word of God come alive like nothing I have ever read before, and I used several translations for study and ministry purposes. This book is so pretty and would make a great gift with it's beautiful hardback cover and ribbon place keeper.
You know all things were created by GOD for GOD & this is one of those books that is to bring us closer to the HEART of GOD & if you don't know HIM find a beliver who does & ask JESUS to come into you life & ask HIM to for give you of what ever sins are in your life & wow that's when you begain to live & that's the most important thing you will ever do next to marring your wife & having children !! This BOOK brings you close to his HEART & theirs nothing like being in HIS PRESENCE & feeling the HOLY SPRIT WOW WOW . Try it you will love it HE will guide you down the path of this life & on to the next you will be amazed .
This is a great devotional! There are 52 entries and there are 52 weeks in a year. I have been focusing on one entry per week. I really like the questions at the end. I have been journaling the entries on Mondays and then re-visiting them throughout the week. I wish there was a daily version for 365 days of the year!

If you do not mind hearing the Lord speak to you through another writer, this book will not disappoint you! I read it from time to time to hear from the Lord myself. The devotions that I have read have been exactly what I needed to hear from the Lord when I read them. This is not an interactional book, so if you are not predisposed to being challenged in that way, you will probably enjoy this book.
I so appreciate hearing what God whispers to Dr.Simmon's heart. And then, ending each whisper with the written Word. It's an example of how I believe we each need to live. Hearing God speak to our hearts as well as receiving revelation from the written Word of God.
