This book is fantastic! I learned so much! Chad Conrad uses a certain very engaging, comfortable, and inviting scholarship to discuss some of the most pressing questions that face believers today. I frequently found myself smiling and laughing at the good humor with which the book is laced. Some of the topics will surprise you. One of my favorites was about deciding when and how to get married and how revelation works. But many other more typical questions are addressed such as creation, race and the priesthood, gender roles, and the issue of homosexuality and God's plan. I cannot recommend this book highly enough. If you are a believer who is struggling, or if you want to believe but don't know if you can, or if you have friends and family who fit these descriptions, the principles in Doubt Your Doubts are potentially life-changing.
Well written and very readable for almost any degree of belief or inquiry. This book examines questions and doubts frankly, unfriendly, almost joyfully. It does not so much state answers as encourage contemplation of of revised viewpoints while seeking your own understanding. All with the author's honest viewpoint and joyful testimony straightforwardly expressed without being preachy at all. Highly recommend for yourself, friends, family who are members and for the curious who are interested in questions about what they may have head about the church but may hesitate to ask.
